Download BrochureI've had a lot of fun driving this machine, moving dirt, picking up and moving materials, lifting stuff up high and using all the different implements i purchased with it. But since purchasing it, it unfortunately broke down 3 times. The last time was for over 2 months to get it fixed. The problem isn't really that it broke down, it's in how the company that sold it to me addressed the breakdowns so that i didn't end up with lost time and extra bills from other contractors that had to be hired because my machine was operating. Machine is now running again simply because i pursued it enough both with BDI and Cummins. The issue was the fuel pump - which it turns out is a bad apple and has been discontinued - so i'm assuming all units recently sold have the same fuel pump. Cummins has now issued a new fuel pump to replace the existing. In chatting with Cummins about the excessive down time they are looking at getting me extra extended warranty on the motor to help alleviate some of my pain. Bravo Cummins!! That's good customer service. Meanwhile, my last voice message from BDI after i asked to have the snowblower they sold me set up correctly (as they promised to do) was to not call them ever again unless the machine stops running and that they won't do anything extra for me and all the issues are Cummins issues and not theirs. Meanwhile....equipment breaks down.....that's life - how you address those customers that have those issues is in your control. You can either have a customer for life giving them great publicity or you have a customer that will have nothing good to say. It's very unfortunate because the machine is truly a blast to use.
